Seven people were killed and four others sustained injuries when the vehicle they were travelling in fell off a bridge in Karnataka's Belagavi district on Sunday. According to police, the victims worked as labourers and were on their way to their workplace. CM Basavaraj S Bommai has announced ₹5 lakh as compensation to each of the families of the deceased.
