Telangana Labour Minister Vivek Venkatswamy said gig workers nationwide are facing rising work pressure. He said the state has approved Gig and Platform Workers Welfare Bill (2025) and demanded Centre's intervention into the matter. "Gig workers are suffering due to increasing aggressiveness of aggregators...If they meet with accident while delivering goods, they're left without support," he said.
