NHRC seeks report from MP govt over claim children were paid to join Digvijaya Singh’s yatra

National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has issued a notice to Madhya Pradesh government over a complaint alleging that children were offered money to participate in a yatra led by Congress' Digvijaya Singh. The complaint alleged that Singh made children chant objectionable political slogans. NHRC directed the state’s Chief Secretary and DGP to investigate and submit a report within 15 days.
