Humans are still evolving and at faster pace than previously thought, a study found. Researchers analysed DNA from nearly 16,000 people spanning 10,000 years and identified hundreds of gene variants shaped by natural selection, including those linked to red hair, baldness and immunity. Contrary to earlier assumptions, evolution actually accelerated after humans adopted farming, the study said.
