Australia's Charles Bannerman's record for the highest percentage of runs by a batter in an all-out Test innings set in the first-ever Test that started on March 15, 1877 is still unbroken. Bannerman scored 165*, constituting 67.34% of Australia's 245. Further, England's James Southerton, who featured in the Test, is still the oldest debutant at 49 years and 119 days.
