One person has been killed and two others have been injured in an explosion at an illegal firecracker manufacturing unit in the Madurai district of Tamil Nadu on Tuesday. The manufacturing unit, which is located at the Nalliveeranpatti village, is said to have been running without permission. Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
