Things are going to get worse, hold on for 18 months: Anthropic exec on cyber threats

Anthropic cybersecurity chief Jason Clinton warned that software vulnerabilities will get worse before improving, urging organisations to "hold on for 18 months". He said developers would then be able to use cheaper AI models to "stop shipping security bugs". Responding to an X user who accused AI labs of "creating this monster", Clinton added, "We tried to warn the world."
