Alphabet's Waymo said it has suspended its robotaxi service on freeways in US and paused its operations in Atlanta. The move has been taken to update the robotaxi's software to improve its performance around construction zones and flooded roadways. Earlier, Waymo recalled about 3,800 robotaxis after identifying a risk that ⁠vehicles ​could enter flooded roads with ​higher speed limits.
