Govt notifies 40 questions for 2027 Census

The Centre has notified 40 questions people will be asked during the Population Enumeration (PE) phase of the 2027 Census. The questionnaire includes questions on caste, religion, nationality, educational qualification, occupation, birthplace, Aadhaar number and place of Covid-19 vaccination, among others. The PE phase would begin in Ladakh and snowbound areas of hill states from September 1.
