The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) on Wednesday appointed all-rounder Rahmat Shah as the new Test and ODI captain. This comes after Hashmatullah Shahidi stepped down from the role. Rahmat, who's represented Afghanistan in 128 ODIs and 12 Tests, had earlier served as Afghanistan's Test and ODI vice-captain. Meanwhile, Rahmanullah Gurbaz has been named vice-captain for both formats.
