An Asian leopard cat was rescued in Manipur's Bishnupur after a resident found it inside his house and alerted an environmental activist. The animal was later safely handed over to the Forest Department. The resident initially mistook it for a domestic cat but realised it was a leopard cat when it resisted. The activist has rescued around 40 wildlife species.
