The US Treasury on Tuesday said Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has been granted "read-only" access to "coded data" of the government's payment system. The review "is not resulting in the suspension or rejection of any payment instructions", it added. This came after people protested against the Treasury giving DOGE access to the US government's payment system.
