What are executive orders, issued by US Presidents?
short by Sakshita Khosla / on Wednesday, 22 January, 2025
Executive orders are "signed, written and published directive(s)" by Presidents of the USA who manage operations of the federal government. They don't require Congressional approval as they're not legislations, but they're subject to courts' review if they violate the Constitution or exceed President's authority. President Donald Trump has signed around 80 orders since his inauguration on Monday.
