Singer Usha Uthup said that the passing away of legendary singer Asha Bhosle on Sunday was the "end of an iconic era". Stating that it was "unbelievable to speak about Asha ji in the past tense", Usha added, "There has never been another singer as versatile as her." Usha also said that Asha Bhosle "has inspired generations of young singers."
