Angry residents block roads in Gurugram & Faridabad as power crisis hits 50,000 homes

Angry residents blocked roads and the Daulatabad flyover over prolonged power cuts in Gurugram and Faridabad. The power crisis in Gurugram has left 50,000 homes in the dark and affected production at around 1,800 manufacturing units. Gurugram is facing power crisis as electricity department employees are on strike over the grant of a power distribution licence to a private company.
