Syrian President al-Shara seen scrolling Instagram Reels as leaders spoke at UNGA

As world leaders addressed the UN General Assembly (UNGA), a video of Syrian President and ex-leader of al-Qaeda affiliate Jabhat al-Nusra, Ahmed al-Sharaa, showed him scrolling through Instagram Reels on his phone in the assembly. The video was reportedly recorded when Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was addressing the assembly from the podium.
