AI more biased than humans in hiring: Study

A study by Princeton and the University of Chicago found that large language models (LLMs) used in hiring could develop stronger biases and stereotype job applicants more than humans while making hiring decisions, based on feedback from simulated tasks. Researchers said, "LLMs aren't merely passive mirrors of human social biases, but can actively create new ones from experience."
