Houses in India's top 7 cities got 59% costlier in 5 years: Report
Housing prices in India's top seven cities rose 59% between 2021 and 2025, Anarock Research said. Construction costs accounted for most of the increase, while land costs, developer margins and demand-supply dynamics were other factors. Average construction costs rose to ₹3,604 per sq ft from ₹2,681, while residential capital values climbed to ₹9,260 per sq ft from ₹5,826.
