The pilot-to-aircraft ratio at India's largest airline IndiGo is around 14 pilots per commercial plane, a report by Statista highlighted. This is lower than that of Air India Express and its parent company, Air India, which have 15 and 36 pilots per plane, respectively. Notably, IndiGo commands nearly 63% of India’s aviation market, while Air India holds a 27% share.
