It advances free & fair elections: Supreme Court as it upholds SIR

The Supreme Court of India, while upholding the constitutional validity of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, ruled that the process advances the constitutional imperative of free and fair elections. The court also clarified that exclusion from the voter list during the SIR doesn't mean a person loses citizenship, adding that it's a legal electoral decision.
