Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Thursday joked, "Chalu hai mic, aapka hi band hota hai (Mic is on, only yours doesn't work)" after Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and Congress MPs claimed Congress leader KC Venugopal's microphone wasn't working. The remark came as Birla was explaining House procedure to Venugopal. Gandhi had pointed to the mic, saying "No mic".
