251 Lok Sabha & 75 Rajya Sabha MPs face criminal cases: Report

An affidavit filed in Supreme Court has revealed that 251 of 543 Lok Sabha MPs and 75 of 233 Rajya Sabha MPs have declared criminal cases against themselves. It also said 14 of 28 state CMs have declared criminal cases. The affidavit, filed by amicus curiae Vijay Hansaria, said 4,192 cases involving current and former MPs and MLAs remain pending.
