Team India all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin on Friday broke the record for taking most Test wickets by an Indian on Asian soil. Ashwin dismissed Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto on Day 1 of the second Test in Kanpur to record his 420th Test scalp in Asia. He overtook Anil Kumble, who took 419 Test wickets on Asian soil.
