Royal Challengers Bengaluru chairman Aryaman Birla has confirmed the IPL franchise's name will not change despite its ownership transition. “It is a huge brand and we love the name,” Birla said. RCB was acquired in March this year by a consortium including Aditya Birla Group, Times of India Group, Bolt Ventures and Blackstone for about ₹16,706 crore.
