US CIA has formed a secret task force aimed at carrying out covert influence operations to create divisions among Cuba's political elite, NYT reported. The aim is to replace anti-American leaders with those more persuadable to US President Donald Trump's demands. Trump has several times suggested a "friendly takeover" of Cuba and has also imposed pressure on Cuba's communist government.
