FIFA bans 2 ex-football association chiefs for life over fund misuse

Former Football Association of Maldives President Bassam Adeel Jaleel has been handed a lifetime ban from all football-related activities for misappropriating COVID-19 relief funds for personal use, FIFA said. In a separate case, FIFA has also handed a lifetime ban to former Montserrat Football Association (MFA) President Vincent Cassell for "abuse of position" and misuse of FIFA and MFA funds.
