IRCTC fines food vendor ₹5 lakh after 25 fall ill on train

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has imposed a fine of ₹5 lakh on a food service provider after 25 students travelling on a train reportedly fell ill upon consuming its food. Railway doctors provided immediate medical assistance to the affected students at the station. Railway officials collected food samples, which have been sent for testing.
