Fish oil supplements could hamper brain's repairing ability: Study

A Medical University of South Carolina study flagged concerns about fish oil supplements, which are often promoted as being protective for the brain. According to their study, EPA, an omega-3 fatty acid found in fish oil, could interfere with brain's ability to repair itself in people with repeated mild head injuries. Higher levels of EPA were associated with weaker repair.
