YouTube has appealed the verdict of a Los Angeles lawsuit awarding a 20-year-old woman $3 million in damages and findings that the firm designed its platform to be addictive. The jury found that negligence by the firm was one of the main factors in causing harm to the woman. This comes less than a week after Meta appealed the verdict.
