SpaceX short sellers are sitting on $5 billion (₹48,000 crore) in paper profits following a steep post-IPO decline, according to S3 Partners. Shares of the company dipped 5.4% on Friday, erasing over $1 trillion in market value from its peak after a Starship launch was aborted. The notional value of short interest in the company has surged to $25 billion.
