India's 3 neighbours on list as US imposes visa bond of up to $20,000 on 50 countries
The US has updated its visa bond programme, requiring eligible applicants from 50 countries to deposit a refundable $10,000-$20,000 before getting B1/B2 business and tourist visas. The list includes Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Nepal. India, however, is not on the list. The deposit is returned if the traveller follows visa terms and leaves the US on time.
