Trump declares national emergency

US President Donald Trump has signed an Executive Order declaring a national emergency. The emergency has been declared over extraordinary foreign threat to US involving bulk-power systems produced abroad. The order prohibits certain foreign-produced bulk-power system electric equipment, including digital capabilities that could pose cybersecurity risks, from being purchased or installed in US.
