Chhattisgarh's Maitri Bagh Zoo, which houses over 400 rare wildlife species, has implemented intensive cooling measures amid soaring temperatures. Water sprinklers, artificial waterfalls, coolers and shade enclosures have been installed along with modified diet plans for the animals to ensure their well-being. A wet moat system with continuous running water has also been activated for cooling.
