HC stays FIR against journalist who reported on UP school infra

The Allahabad High Court on Wednesday stayed an FIR against a journalist who reported on alleged poor infrastructure and unhygienic conditions at a school in Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow. The court said the administration should have addressed the issues pointed out in the report rather than making it an "ego issue". Retaliatory action amounts to "killing the messenger," the court added.
