Zerodha CEO Nithin Kamath warned against a new scam where strangers approach people to use their smartphone to make an "emergency call". Scammers then download new apps or change settings to forward calls and messages on their devices. "From intercepting OTPs to draining bank accounts, scammers can cause serious damage without you even realising it," Kamath posted on X.
