Bitcoin surged past $71,000 (₹65.46 lakh) for the first time in three weeks. “This is a victory for cryptocurrencies, given the impressive selloff those financial markets and gold experienced the day before,” London-based global brokerage FxPro's chief market analyst Alex Kuptsikevich said. Despite the rebound, Bitcoin remains about 43.65% below its October peak of $126,000 (₹1.16 crore).
