Pakistan faced diplomatic embarrassment after its PM Shehbaz Sharif deleted his post announcing that Islamabad would host an official US-Iran signing ceremony in Switzerland on June 19. Iran publicly clarified that the MoU had been signed digitally by the Presidents of both the countries and that no signing ceremony would be held in Switzerland. Sharif shared a new post later.
