World Bank's Indian-origin President Ajay Banga spoke about youth of Punjab, stating it used to be India's agricultural centre. "Today...young kids there have sold their farms. They are...rich for about 4 years and buy a great SUV...smoke and drink a lot. [Then] they're broke and end up in a shanty town of urban centre...to find gig economy jobs," he said.
