ICC slammed for changing ODI World Cup 2027 format

Cricket Scotland and Royal Dutch Cricket Association have criticised ICC for changing ODI World Cup 2027 format less than 18 months before the tournament. Under a new Super Series phase, the teams ranked 12th, 13th and 14th will contest a tri-series, with only one advancing to a 12-team second round. Both boards called the lack of communication "disappointing and disrespectful".
