A couple allegedly found a snail in prasadam served to them at Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Andhra Pradesh, prompting police to launch a probe. However, the temple's Executive Officer (EO), N Sujatha, claimed that this could be a deliberate attempt to defame the temple, and suggested the snail may have been kept after the purchase.
