Delhi High Court restrained Sanjay Dutt-backed company Cartel Bros from using "Godfather" trademark for their whisky. The court noted that DeVANS Modern Breweries used the trademark for over 40 years and acquired substantial goodwill and reputation around it. "In the kingdom of trademarks, you don’t mess with the Don," the court jokingly added, in a reference to iconic mafia boss.
