The Omani co-pilot who stabbed hero Indian Captain Smit Machchhar aboard a flydubai flight indicated he intended to crash the aircraft in Israel, ABC News reported, citing sources. The flight was sent diving towards the ground after the attack. A disaster was averted when Indian pilot Machchhar, despite being stabbed inside cockpit, fought off the co-pilot, saving hundreds of lives.
