Ted Turner, who founded the news network CNN in 1980, has died at the age of 87, CNN announced on Wednesday. The cause of his death wasn't revealed, however, in 2018, Turner revealed he had Lewy body dementia, a degenerative nerve disease. The Ohio-born Atlanta businessman was known as "Mouth of the South", "Captain Outrageous", and "Terrible Ted".
