J&K MP Mehdi resigns from NC & Parliament on father's death anniversary

Srinagar MP Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi on Tuesday quit the National Conference (NC) and resigned from his Lok Sabha seat. Mehdi made the announcement on the 26th death anniversary of his father, Aga Syed Mehdi, at an event held at Behisht-e-Zehra Park in Budgam, where a large number of supporters had gathered.
