After TMC expelled two MLAs, Sandipan Saha and Ritabrata Banerjee, it has been reported that many party MLAs are backing the rebel leaders. A group of MLAs has reportedly been holding meetings without the knowledge of the party's top leadership, giving rise to speculations of split in the party and formation of TMC without Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee.
