A Vande Bharat Express train specially designed to operate at sub-zero temperatures will begin operations between Srinagar and Jammu from April 30, officials said. The train is integrated with several advanced heating systems for cables and water pipelines to prevent them from freezing, they added. The train is expected to improve access to destinations such as Pahalgam, Gulmarg and Sonamarg.
