Rebel TMC MP Jagadish Chandra Barma Basunia said the rebel leaders will meet Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Monday and seek recognition as the "real TMC". This comes after 20 rebel TMC MPs wrote a letter to Om Birla seeking to join BJP-led NDA. The split comes after TMC's defeat in the West Bengal Assembly elections in May.
