Iraq's PM-designate Ali al-Zaidi is a businessman and political outsider with no history in government administration. The 40-year-old holds a Master's degree in banking and is a member of Iraq's Bar Association. He was a chairman of Al-Janoob Islamic Bank, which was sanctioned by Iraq's Central Bank. He was nominated by the Coordination Framework, a coalition of Iraq's major parties.
