Centre issues advisory for TV channels, warns against inflammatory debates, misuse of AI tools

The Centre has issued an advisory warning private satellite TV channels against inflammatory debates, communal content and misuse of artificial intelligence (AI). It asked broadcasters to mute abusive panellists or discontinue live feeds when necessary. Channels have also been advised against live coverage of anti-terror operations and told to use AI only in an assistive capacity.
