Manus to resume independent operations after China blocks Meta's $2 billion deal

AI startup Manus on Tuesday announced that it would resume operations as an independent company as part of its separation from Meta. Some user data will be deleted during the transition, Manus said, adding that affected users can back up their data. In April, China ordered Meta to unwind its over $2 billion acquisition of the startup.
